Are children permitted?

Although we love kids, all guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend this event.

Can I bring my dog or pet with me?

As much as we love dogs and animals, unfortunately they are not permitted at this event. The Department of Public Health says food service and pets are not a good mix. Service dogs are the only exception.

Kick off your Wine and Food Affair weekend experience at Alexander Valley Vineyards on Friday evening with our award-winning wines accompanied by light appetizers. Sip and mingle with members of the Wetzel family surrounded by our vineyards, next to our working winery. We will be offering an insider's tour of our barrel-aging wine cave starting at 5:45pm. Space is limited to 30 guests, reserve your tickets today before it is sold out.

Alexander Valley Vineyards is a family-owned and operated winery located 75 miles north of San Francisco. With vineyards that stretch from the banks of the Russian River to the Mayacamas hillsides, the Wetzel Family continues the tradition of family farming on the property begun by valley namesake Cyrus Alexander in the mid-1840s.

Our wines reflect the unique character of the region. We are known for our elegant Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as Chardonnay, Merlot, Zinfandel, and our premium Cab blend – CYRUS. Every bottle shares AVV's story, each glass brings our home to yours.

Our tasting room is open from 10am-5pm daily for wine tastings (Estate $15 & Reserve $25), and reservations are not required for groups of 6 or less. Special events and experiences are offered by reservation.
